Silon is non-woven material produced by special process. At the beginning synthetic fibres are mechanically formed into fleece form, which is than additionally strengthen by mechanical and chemical treatments. The chemicals chosen for this process give Silon high level characteristics when used in final product.

| SILON SHOE COMPONENTS |
Silon is primarily used in footwear industry as a lining material for different parts of shoes. Due to its thermal and
adhesive resistance Silon can be easily adhered, pressed and formed. It is also resistant against chemicals and tearing
and is therefore suitable for other leather goods.
Silon can be improved by PU or PVC coating or by printing in order to obtain high quality material for suitcases and
bags. This material can completely replace genuine leather or any other synthetic materials.
We manufacture Silon:
- width 140, 145, 150 and 155 cm (+ 2/-0cm);
- various thickness's in the range from 0,5 mm up to 3 mm (+-0,1, +-0,05 mm) - due to economy in footwear industry;
- various colours according to colour card (possibility for shading new colours for orders over than 5000m2);
- length of rolls 50-70 running meters up to 600 l.m.
The materials are tested by SATRA INSTITUTE in England. For Silon 200, 200 B, 300, 300 B, 500 S and 500 SP we have also OKO-TEX standard 100. All materials have been tested for harmful substances.
